SNACK Students have only 15/20 minutes for snack. 2 snack items is more than enough, so please pack accordingly. Also, there is nothing, but water allowed in the classroom for snack. Juice boxes, milk, etc. can be packed for lunch only. Please make sure the snack is healthy.
Possible snacks:fruit, vegetables, pretzels, crackers, popcorn, yogurt, trail mix (with no candy), breakfast bar. If you have a question about any other snacks please email. PLEASE: NO NUT OR PEANUT SNACKS OF ANY KIND - WE ARE A PEANUT AND TREE NUT FREE SCHOOL!!!!!
Please DO NOTSEND for snack: donuts, any type of sugary treats, chips, cookies or candy. These items are fine for lunch not for snack. Items may be packed in lunch. BIRTHDAYS If you would like to bring in treats for your child’s birthday please email me so we may work out the details (date & time). Please be sure the treats are halal and nut/peanut free! Due to allergies and dietary restrictions - items should be store bought and not homemade to help ensure no cross-contamination of any kind. *I, myself, experienced a reaction to homemade cookies just last year.
